It was actually great that Carmel had Tru go off to college with Noah in the back of her mind. It would have been cliché for them to magically mend their relationship. Although it was sad that Noah and Tru broke up after she finds out that he has betrayed her in the worst way, it made sense. He learns more about himself but most importantly he learns more about who Tru is. Noah doesn’t realize it right away but, the road trip is just as important for him. Tru finds herself in so many ways on her road trip and so does Noah. I enjoyed reading all of the journal entries from Trus mom and then getting to read Trus journey exploring every place they went to. She made it clear she didn’t have to just accept his behavior. I love Tru because she is such a strong young woman and she kept Noah in his place. Things I Liked: I couldn’t put this book down and my goodness, Noah Tedesco! Tru and Noah’s relationship was definitely unconventional from the start. When she told me about this book I was intrigued especially since it’s similar to books I’ve read by B.
